Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2018 NFL Draft tracker and highlights
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2018 NFL Draft tracker and highlights: Who will the Buccaneers pick to try to regain prominence in the NFC South?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have improved just about as much as any team in the NFC South this offseason, and fans should be excited about their new look defensive front.
Tampa Bay went out this offseason and attacked their primary area of weakness, which was along the defensive line.
The Bucs went out and picked up Jason Pierre-Paul from the New York Giants, Vinny Curry and Beau Allen from the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles, and Mitch Unrein from the Chicago Bears.
Together, those three players can combine with Gerald McCoy to give the Buccaneers a very physical defensive line that can provide a ton of pressure on opposing quarterbacks as well as be stout against the run.
In my opinion, that may be the most improved position group in the entire NFL over the course of the past two or three months.
The Buccaneers also went out and solidified the middle of their offensive line by signing Baltimore Ravens unrestricted free agent center Ryan Jensen to a big contract.
Jensen’s signing gives the Buccaneers a solidified line at all five positions up front.
Let’s take a look at the Buccaneers’ offseason, starting with their top needs going into the draft and the moves they have made this offseason to improve the roster already.
