Seattle Seahawks 2018 NFL Draft tracker and highlights. It’s the end of an era in Seattle. How will Peter Carroll and John Schneider rebuild?

These aren’t your Super Bowl 48 Seattle Seahawks.

The team that destroyed the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl 43-8 has all but officially been disbanded, with only a few (albeit key) members remaining.

Russell Wilson is still calling the shots as the Seahawks’ starting quarterback, but there have been so many moving parts with this team in the 2018 offseason, it’s almost been hard to keep up.

After missing the playoffs in 2017, the Seahawks decided to rip off the bandage and give this team a makeover as quickly as possible. Unfortunately for them, starting afresh also means coming up with a newfound approach to the NFL Draft, which has been somewhat of an afterthought in the team’s run of dominance over the past five or six years.

Since 2012, when Seattle drafted Bruce Irvin in the first round, the team has had just one first round pick, and it was spent on offensive lineman Germain Ifedi.

They have used their first round picks in trades, and their lack of top tier talent is evident when you look through their roster.

The Seahawks have struggled to find a groove early on in the draft, and as a result, they became a roster with a lot of cap issues and not much young talent to turn to.

This year, the Seahawks have a much higher top pick than they are used to, at 18 overall. They don’t have a day two selection, but they have seven on day three, where they have been strongest.

Here’s a look at the Seahawks’ 2018 offseason, as well as their newest draft picks…
