Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft is a place for fans to both overhype and undervalue prospects who slide under the radar. Bold takes and extreme predictions make evaluating the later rounds even more difficult, and every fanbase is looking to predict their next draft steal.

The NFL offseason calendar continues to roll on, and with the NFL Draft firmly in the rearview mirror, it's time to take those predictions and see who could actually live up to the "sleeper" hype.

Here's one steal from each AFC South team who could make a big impact:

Houston Texans: Kamari Ramsey, S, USC - Round 5, Pick 141

The Texans' defense remains a stout unit, with an impressive blend of experienced veterans and high-octane youth. Their starting defensive lineup is fantastic, but they could still use a "6th man" to live in a rotational role and provide a spark in the secondary. The skill set that Kamari Ramsey has makes him an ideal candidate for such a task.

He's athletic enough to survive in a plethora of man and zone coverage looks, and won't miss a beat if he's shuffled around the defensive alignment. Playing both the nickel and as a traditional safety could very well be in his future, and the Houston defense may have found themself more ammunition to add to their arsenal.

Indianapolis Colts: Deion Burks, WR, Oklahoma - Round 7, Pick 254

The fun-sized Deion Burks has a profile that comes with some questions as to how he'll adjust to the physicality of the NFL, but none of which should have ever led to him falling as far as he did. He may not be a dominating presence, but the electricity he brings to an offense's short game was eye-catching when watching his film.

Indianapolis has their deep threat in Alec Pierce, but could still use some added production from the rest of their wideouts. Don't count out Burks in that equation, and the former Sooner will certainly make a push to see substantial playing time as early as Week 1.

More 2026 draft steals:

Jacksonville Jaguars: Josh Cameron, WR, Baylor - Round 6, Pick 191

The big-bodied Cameron's collegiate career was defined by constant improvement, as he simply just got better and better as the years progressed. He won't take the top off of defenses or be an imposing yards-after-catch weapon, but he's a player who always seems to be there whenever you need him.

Jacksonville's receiving corps is already loaded with talent, with the likes of Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, and Travis Hunter, should they choose to maintain his offensive workload. Even so, a safety blanket such as Cameron will always find a way onto the field, and he could be an effective change-of-pace WR for the Jaguars.

Tennessee Titans: Fernando Carmona Jr., OL, Arkansas - Round 5, Pick 142

Fernando Carmona isn't the flashiest offensive lineman, but his presumed floor is enough to warrant high marks for the Tennessee front office's choice to select him. He's showcased the ability to be a viable swing tackle and mainstay at guard, giving the Titans' offense some important depth and versatility in the trenches.

While he likely won't enter the year with a starting role, one injury (or continued poor play) from any of the starters could give the Arkansas product a chance to step in and prove his worth. Reliability on the offensive line is always essential, and Carmona provides just that, coming with a low-risk price tag.
