51. Colorado. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 57. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR

Wide receiver is not a major position of need for the Los Angeles Rams, but after trading away Brandin Cooks, they could use some help at the position. Also, Laviska Shenault Jr. is simply too good of a value selection to ignore here.

Shenault was a consistent playmaker in college, showing the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. He is fantastic with the ball in his hands and would be an exciting weapon for the creative mind of Sean McVay. Shenault would not have to take on a major role for the Rams but he could still be an important and explosive offensive weapon for the team right away.

Jacob Eason. 58. 48. Washington. QB. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

After trading down in the first round, the Buccaneers have a little extra 2020 NFL Draft capital to work with. This extra pick affords them the opportunity to make a pick for the future, which they do with the selection of Jacob Eason here.

Eason is an extremely raw quarterback prospect who undoubtedly has to improve his decision-making in order to become a competent NFL starting quarterback. That being said, he has a massive arm, plays in rhythm well and shows impressive downfield accuracy. Eason feels like the perfect project quarterback for Bruce Arians‘ system, and while he would not be starting anytime soon, he could be a big-time asset for the Bucs once Brady decides to hang up his cleats.

Notre Dame. 59. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Julian Okwara. player. 36

Even if the Seattle Seahawks end up bringing back Jadeveon Clowney, this team could still use some impact depth at the edge rusher position. Julian Okwara lacks ideal functional strength on the edge, but he is a quick and explosive rusher who can win with pure speed around the corner. Okwara shows impressive bend around the edge and closes on the quarterback quickly. His raw upside at a position of need is worth the investment for Seattle here.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IDL. Auburn. Marlon Davidson. 60. player. 26

Baltimore continues to work on their defensive front seven in this mock draft, bringing defensive lineman Marlon Davidson to the mix late in the second round. Davidson shows an impressive blend of power and quickness that will play at the next level. He shows extremely strong hands and can make an impact as a one-gap penetrator when asked to do so. Davidson has some position versatility and the skill-set needed to be a playmaker at the next level.
