QB. Oklahoma. Jalen Hurts. 61. 35. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player

The Titans have plenty of needs to address here, but Jalen Hurts is simply too valuable of a player to ignore here. Hurts has significantly improved as a passer throughout his college career and looked even better at the Senior Bowl and the combine. Hurts has never been overly impressive as a passer, but his continued improvement throughout his career is promising.

Hurts is also an extremely smart and high-character prospect who would simply be a great guy to have around the franchise. The Titans made an investment in Ryan Tannehill this offseason, but Hurts is a fantastic natural playmaker at the quarterback position who has a ton of long-term upside. If he is available at pick No. 61, the Titans need to think long and hard about making this selection.

TCU. Ross Blacklock. player. 49. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IDL. 62

Ross Blacklock is quick off of the snap, powerful at the point of attack and always plays with a high motor. He showed plenty of two-gap ability in college and also seems to have some upside as a one-gap penetrator on the interior. Simply put, Blacklock is an impressive football player who has a bright future at the next level. The Green Bay Packers find themselves some nice value late in the second round with a player who can help them immediately.

63. 124. Pick Analysis. IOL. Temple. Matt Hennessy. player. Scouting Report

The Kansas City Chiefs must make protecting Patrick Mahomes priority number one going forward. While Mahomes is extremely smart in the pocket and knows how to protect himself, they need to pour some resources into making life easier on him.

With this pick, the Chiefs fill a hole on the interior offensive line with the selection of Matt Hennessy. Hennessy is a smart and athletic center prospect who shows impressive pass protection skills and moves well in space. He is a fantastic second-level blocker and should be able to help keep Mahomes clean in the pocket.

WR. 64. player. Pick Analysis. KJ Hamler. 36. Scouting Report. Penn State

While his inconsistent hands are an issue, KJ Hamler is an exciting offensive playmaker who would be a tremendous value selection in this range. Hamler is an incredibly quick and explosive athlete who can use his speed to create consistent separation in his routes. He is also a tremendous natural playmaker with the ball in his hands and can make an impact on the game in a variety of ways.

Hamler struggled with drops in college and that is obviously a concern, but his long-term ceiling is absolutely massive. Adding Hamler to the mix at wide receiver with D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett would give the Seahawks one of the most explosive wide receiver rooms in the entire NFL.
