Tua Tagovailoa. 3. 13. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Alabama

This is where the 2020 NFL Draft really starts. Without a major quarterback need, the Detroit Lions are in an advantageous situation here. They can aggressively look at trade-down scenarios and pick up extra draft capital. As long as the Lions stay in position to still land a premier defensive prospect, a trade-down is a no-brainer.

The Los Angeles Chargers stand as one of the most obvious teams to trade up to No. 3. In this mock draft, the Chargers send away some draft capital in order to get in a position to land their franchise quarterback. There are obvious health concerns with Tua Tagovailoa, but he is undoubtedly an incredibly talented quarterback who has massive upside at the next level.

Tagovailoa is an extremely smart and precise passer who always seems to put the ball exactly where it needs to be. He has the ability to the proper touch on all of his passes and has tremendous natural accuracy to all levels. Tagovailoa also shows strong pocket presence and solid overall mobility.

As long as he can get and stay healthy, Tua is a star quarterback in the making. He is undoubtedly worth making a significant investment in like this.
