Defensive tackle stands out as an obvious need for the Indianapolis Colts. They will undoubtedly look to attack the position over the offseason, both through free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft. The Colts could certainly take a defensive tackle in the first round, but if they wait until day two, Fotu feels like a fantastic fit.

Colts general manager Chris Ballard may be looking for more of an obvious pass-rush threat, but Fotu’s combination of power and quickness is certain to catch his attention. The Colts could honestly use upgrades across their interior defensive line situation and that includes their nose tackle position.

The Colts could take Fotu with one of their day two selections and make him their immediate starter at the nose tackle position. He could come in and have immediate success as an early-down run defender while he grows into a more complete role with the team.

Simply put, the Colts have a massive need at the defensive tackle position and Fotu is one of the most interesting players at the position in the 2020 NFL draft class. They are an obvious fit for him whether they make significant additions at the position earlier in the offseason or not.
