The Denver Broncos would undoubtedly love to work on their terrible offensive line situation in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, when they go on the clock in the first round of this mock draft, there simply is not an offensive lineman worthy of being selected.

Instead, the Broncos work on their secondary, bringing in LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton. The Broncos are likely to lose star cornerback Chris Harris Jr. in free agency this offseason, making cornerback a real possibility for Denver here.

Fulton has all of the physical skills you want in an NFL cornerback. He has long arms and is tough and physical at the line of scrimmage. Fulton also shows an impressive combination of speed, quickness and overall athleticism. He has plenty of natural long speed and fantastic natural change of direction quickness. He is a sticky man-to-man defender who has a chance to grow into a lockdown defender at the next level.

Make no mistake about it, Fulton is one of the premier cornerbacks in the 2020 NFL draft class. The Broncos could go in many different directions here, but taking Fulton here in this mock draft feels like a nice combination of best player available and positional need.
