2020 NFL Draft: No. 1 overall pick target for each bottom-tier NFL team
Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
The Miami Dolphins are currently the most likely team to land the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Miami is clearly in tank mode and would love nothing more than to lose enough games to secure that number one selection.

The Dolphins actually have two legitimate bites at the apple here. Their own first-round pick will be extremely high, but due to the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade, they also hold the first-round selection of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Steelers are currently 1-3 and are without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for the rest of the season. Pittsburgh finishing as the worst team in the NFL is unlikely, but it is possible.
If the Dolphins end up picking number one, their selection should be rather easy. With all due respect to Justin Herbert, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is separating himself from the pack. Tagovailoa is a supremely talented quarterback prospect who is always in control of the offense. He has great overall arm talent and is a tremendously accurate passer.
The Dolphins have many holes on their roster that must be addressed, but Tagovailoa is the kind of franchise quarterback prospect who a team like this simply cannot pass on. The Dolphins need an answer at quarterback and Tua would fill their most important need with a bullet.
This one is simple, if the Miami Dolphins hold the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Tagovailoa should be the selection.
