2. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have been a franchise stuck in mediocrity for a long time. They are typically in the AFC North conversation with Andy Dalton under center, but they have not been anything close to a Super Bowl contender.

This offseason, Cincinnati finally moved on from head coach Marvin Lewis and hired bright, young offensive mind, Zac Taylor, to replace him. Taylor will likely bring a modern offense to Cincinnati that will likely make them a more efficient unit. Dalton may look better this season with Taylor calling the plays, but they would still be wise to look to move away from him soon.

The Bengals did draft a quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft, snagging Ryan Finley out of NC State in the fourth round. Finley has played well in his short preseason career, but he is unlikely to be a strong starting option at any point in his career.

Simply put, Dalton is not the right guy to lead this team into the future. The Bengals need to find Taylor a young quarterback to work with and build the offense around. If nothing else, this is a franchise that needs a shot in the arm. An exciting first-round quarterback may just be what the doctor ordered for the Cincinnati Bengals.
