1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I know that we are supposed to believe that Bruce Arians is going to come in and fix Jameis Winston. Arians is an incredible offensive coach who particularly works well with quarterbacks. That being said, I have seen more than enough out of Winston to know that he is not the guy who you want leading your NFL franchise.

Winston entered the NFL with a bright future and all of the talent in the world. However, he has never been able to fix the issues that made him a risky NFL draft prospect.

Through four NFL seasons, Winston still has off-field problems and has not been able to fix his turnover issues on the field. He has thrown double-digit interceptions in each of his four NFL seasons. Last year, Winston threw 14 picks despite only playing in 11 games.

Arians may be able to come in and fix everything with Winston, but I am not counting on it. It is far more likely that he continues to struggle to protect the ball and cannot establish himself as the franchise quarterback the Bucs have always wanted him to be.

The Buccaneers are another team who could easily be picking towards the top of the 2020 NFL Draft. They certainly have some interesting players on the roster, but Tampa Bay is unlikely to be in any sort of position to compete.

When it comes down to it, I do not believe in Winston’s ability to turn his career around. Arians is great, but he is not a miracle worker. The Buccaneers are not a good football team and will likely be in a great spot to replace Winston with one of the top-tier quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
