3. Miami Dolphins

Josh Rosen certainly has a chance to prove himself as the franchise quarterback of the Miami Dolphins this season. Whether Rosen begins the year as the Dolphins’ starting quarterback or not, the Dolphins have no reason not to see what they have in the young signal-caller.

More from NFL Mocks

Rosen was the 10th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but after an ugly rookie season with the Arizona Cardinals, he was traded to the Dolphins to make room for Kyler Murray. Rosen obviously struggled last season, but he was not exactly put in a strong position to succeed. He is a still a strong-armed quarterback with good accuracy to all fields who knows how to put the proper touch on his passes.

In Arizona, Rosen was consistently under pressure and he did not handle that well. If the preseason is any indication, Rosen will likely be under the same kind of pressure in Miami. The Dolphins have some interesting offensive line talent on the roster, but their unit as a whole leaves plenty to be desired.

If Rosen struggles in 2019, the Dolphins are unlikely to win many games. They lack impact talent on both sides of the ball and appear to be at the beginning of a rebuild. Rosen certainly has the talent to be a revelation, but it is probably more likely that he struggles behind a weak offensive line.

Simply put, the Dolphins are unlikely to win many games in 2019 and will probably be in the perfect position to replace Rosen at the top of the draft if they wish. They are among the most likely teams to be looking for a new quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft.
