The NFL Draft season is quickly approaching, with the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots the first to be eliminated from playoff action. They are the first NFL teams to turn their primary focus to the draft. With their pitiful Sunday appearances, the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers are joining them soon.

So that brings us back with AFC West in our NFL Mocks Midseason mock draft and talking about Day 2 today.

We saw the Raiders make some moves, trading back twice, out of the ten spot all the way back to 31 and adding two second-round picks. Amazingly, their man and recent Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels was still available, and the Raiders got their quarterback of the future. They will draft at 42, 47, 63, and 73 and look to build around their new quarterback.

As baffling as it is, the Chargers are 5-7 on the season. They used the 12th overall pick to take Georgia tight end Brock Bowers. They will have the 43rd and 74th overall pick to give Justin Herbert some extra talent.

The Broncos are turning around what looked like a top-five pick finish to the season into a playoff push. They made a brilliant pick of Jer'Zahn Newton with the 14th pick; the Broncos will continue to build back better under Sean Payton with one pick on Day 2 at 75 overall.

The Chiefs drafted a WR, a need they desperately had to address, grabbing Adoni Mitchell from Texas in round one. They have the 58th and 89th pick on Day 2 of our mock draft for the AFC West.

The Raiders are up at No. 42; let's get mock-drafting.
