With the No. 67 pick in our Midseason NFL Mock Draft for the NFC East, the Giants select Jordan Morgan, OT Arizona. The Giants are beefing up the line, which is always a solid decision and early in the third is where you find linemen for life.

When Morgan steps onto the field, he plays with a physical attitude that allows him to displace and fend off edge rushers during run-blocking sequences. He tends to quickly come out of his stance with a rolling motion from his hips to make contact with his defender. In his match-up against Cameron Thomas, Morgan demonstrated his length and punch placement to keep rushers at bay.

His athleticism was evident when he was pulling on screens and running plays, as his hands were quite impressive—able to counter and reset during combative sequences. His hands are strong, allowing him to latch and control his opponents. Morgan has decent feet for an offensive lineman of his size, allowing him to mirror rushers. His lower body is strong, absorbing power and anchoring himself.

Trey Smith is the player productivity comparison and expectations most readable for Morgan. They have similar styles, height and weight and combines as well as athleticism and production scores. If Morgan hits a similar 69 PFF grade to Smith, the Giants will be ecstatic with this pick.
