Las Vegas Raiders

Picks

  • Round 3, Pick No. 90: Dylan Parham, G, Memphis

  • Round 4, Pick No. 126: Neil Farrell, DT, LSU
  • Round 5, Pick No. 175: Matthew Butler, DT, Tennessee
  • Round 7, Pick No. 238: Thayer Munford Jr., OT, Ohio State

The Las Vegas Raiders aren’t always known for making the best moves in free-agency or during the NFL Draft. This time, they may have gotten it right. The silver and black saw many off-season moves go their way with the signing of former All-Pro Chandler Jones in March. The next day, they were able to make a mega trade for Derek Carr’s college running mate and best friend, Davante Adams. This was probably one of the most surprising moves in the off-season so far.

The trade did leave the Raiders without a first and second round pick in this year’s NFL Draft, but they probably don’t feel as if the payment was too steep with arguably the best wide receiver in the game on the squad.

Best Selection: Dylan Parham

The Raiders first selection of the draft is their best pick of 2022. Dylan Parham is quite the prospect from an athletic standpoint. Not only was he a former high school tight end, but he is a projected center despite playing every other position along the line. A swiss army knife along the line could be beneficial for the Raiders as they are in desperate need of a cohesive group to protect Derek Carr. Parham’s versatility will make him a day one starter and a possible anchor for an offensive line in need of an identity.
