2-Round 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Recent QB moves Shake up Mock Draft

2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1, Pick 9 (Seattle Seahawks)
The trade of Russell Wilson and release of Bobby Wagner has put the Seattle Seahawks in full rebuild mode. They have needs across the field and will have the ability to take the best player available throughout the 2022 NFL Draft.
Now, there will be a drive for them to take a quarterback, but this team isn’t ready for that step. Drew Lock provides a cheap option under center and with multiple first round picks in 2023, they can wait a year to address the quarterback while taking a year to build the rest of the roster.
With that being said, they go secondary here with Derek Stingley Jr. from LSU. Stingley’s best season came in 2019 and he hasn’t lived up to the hype since, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t talented. Placing him in a secondary with Jamal Adams should help both players reach their potential.
2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1, Pick 10 (New York Jets)
Like their New York counterpart, the Jets walk into the 2022 NFL Draft with multiple picks in the Top 10, thanks to the Seattle Seahawks and the Jamal Adams trade. Also like the Giants, they can address both sides of the trenches with these two picks.
After taking Ekwonu earlier in the round, the Jets move to the defensive side of the ball here. David Ojabo was strong for Michigan this past season playing opposite Aidan Hutchinson. It will be interesting to see how he does when offensive lines are able to focus on him a bit more without a similar force off the other edge. Regardless, Ojabo has the talent to immediate enhance the Jets pass rush.
