A Fantastic Front Seven

The Georgia Bulldogs defense is one that will be at the top of the nation this year, and the front seven is why, as it’s full of 2022 NFL Draft prospects.

It starts with Adam Anderson, who’s an extremely fluid mover with great change of direction skills. He has the speed and flexibility to challenge the outside track, and wicked quickness to win with an inside move. More reps and work against the run will help his stock out.

Jordan Davis is a very good nose tackle who eats up space and is a handful at the point of attack. He has good hand usage to shed blocks, great vision in the backfield, and finishes well as a tackler.

Travon Walker is another to watch up front. He has the versatility to play everywhere on the offensive line, from 3-tech to 7-tech. Walker has excellent hand usage to stack and shed and displays good extension to keep linemen off-balance. His athleticism is apparent and he can be a very good three down defender at the next level.

Nakobe Dean is an impressive linebacker who has probably flown a bit under the radar to this point, and it may be because he’s undersized. A projected WILL in the NFL, Dean is great at working around blocks and blitzing, showing good athleticism and closing speed. Working on his ability to get off blocks with his hands will be important.
