2021 NFL Free Agency: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Despite getting up there in age, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has still been a very productive player. In 2019, Suh was able to pressure the opposing quarterback 43 times which was tied for the most among all interior defensive linemen. This past season on his way to getting his first Super Bowl ring he recorded six sacks which were the most of any Tampa Bay defensive lineman.

The only real concern with Suh is his age as he will be 34 next season. However, this should be less of a concern than it is with most players his age, as he has not missed a game in nine seasons. He has also been able to keep his explosiveness as a player and can be a force vs the run and the pass.

It would be somewhat of a surprise if Suh did not return to Tampa Bay next year, on a one or two-year deal. He is a good fit with the team, and at this stage of his career playing for a contender is one of the most important things in the team he chooses to suit up for in 2021.
