3. Tristan Wirfs, 1st round, 2020 NFL Draft

One of the biggest rookie standouts in the NFL this year has been Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs. Wirfs has only allowed one sack all year and that was against one of the best pass rushers in the NFL Khalil Mack. He was also named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team for his strong effort this year.

When going back and looking at the Wirfs’ scouting report done by Matt Miller of Bleacher Report going into the 2020 NFL Draft, people were very high on Wirfs. Miller regarded his top traits as his impressive athletic ability and his impressive technique coming out of college. Although one knock on him in this report was that he struggled some in pass protection, which he obviously did not do this year in the NFL.

Even though he has just started his career in the NFL, I look for Tristan Wirfs to become one of the best right tackles in the NFL. Look for him to continue to shine for Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl.
