2021 Senior Bowl winner: Quinn Meinerz, C, Wisconsin-Whitewater

Another player who has shot up the draft board this week is Wisconsin-Whitewater center Quinn Meinerz.

During practices this week Meinerz has shown he is capable of making the switch from Division III to the NFL as he has dominated FBS defensive lineman. This includes one of the highest-rated defensive tackles in the 2021 NFL Draft, Levi Onwuzurike who he pushed a good five yards back in the team portion of practice this week.

If you are looking for a player who just dominates his level of competition in college, go watch Meinerz’s highlight film. In that film, he shows outstanding strength and de-cleats numerous defenders. This is definitely the type of film you want to see from a Division III prospect.

To go along with his impressive strength, Meinerz also shows the toughness you like to see from an interior offensive lineman. He consistently battles to the whistle and has the mean streak to go along with his toughness.

On the downside he is not the most athletic lineman in the draft and might have some trouble playing in a zone based running game.

I currently project Meinerz to be a fourth-round draft pick, but that could change depending on what testing numbers he is able to put up.
