Now that we have gone through another year of practices for the Senior Bowl, it is time to see who improved their stock the most this week. Overall, four players stood out as guys who significantly raised their stock this week and moved up their value at least one round in the 2021 NFL Draft

2021 Senior Bowl winners: D’Wayne Eskridge, WR, Western Michigan

No player helped his stock more this week than Western Michigan wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge. During this week he has been dominant in one-on-ones and has shown the skill set to be one of the best slot receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft.

One of the skills he has flashed his outstanding quickness. He has shown both the speed to get in out of his breaks quickly, and also to be a deep threat. He has also proven that while he is on the smaller side coming in at only 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds he is physical enough to get off press coverage in the NFL.

In addition to these skills, he also displayed reliable hands as he dropped very few passes.

Eskridge has also put up outstanding production in college. Last season, he had 784 receiving yards in just six games. This includes having four games where he accounted for more than 120 yards receiving in the game. He also had one of the more impressive receiver performances of the year when he caught four passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns vs. Central Michigan.

While there has been some talk of him slipping into the late parts of round one, that is a little too high in my opinion. Instead, I see him going more towards the end of the second round or early third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
