The Chicago Bears have already addressed two major offensive needs in this 2021 NFL mock draft but the offensive line also stands out as a massive position of need for this team. In particular, the Bears need to look to make significant additions at the offensive tackle position.

Here, the Bears find themselves an interesting offensive tackle prospect when they bring Teven Jenkins into the mix. Jenkins shows an impressive combination of quickness and strength up front, showing the ability to get to his blocks in time and handle himself with strong natural power. Jenkins can move defenders out of the way in the run game with ease and also shines as a pass protector more often than not.

Make no mistake about it, Jenkins is a gifted offensive tackle prospect who would be a steal in this range. The Bears being able to sit back and find a potential starter at such an important position of need in the third round would undoubtedly be an ideal scenario.

The Bears’ next pick comes in the fifth round where they make another interesting addition to the offensive side of the ball. Alaric Jackson is coming off of a successful four-year career as the left tackle at Iowa. He shows impressive natural power at the point of attack and consistently shines when he is allowed to play forward and attack.

Jackson does have some limitations in pass protection, struggling a bit when getting into vertical pass sets. With this in mind, a move inside would be in his best interest at the next level. The Chicago Bears should have Jackson on their radar in this range and if they are able to add him to the mix, an immediate move to offensive guard would be for the best.
