Round 3, 86th Overall

829. player. IDL. Alabama. Christian Barmore. 3. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Miami Dolphins have aggressively added to their offense, making four of their first five picks of this 2021 NFL mock draft on the offensive side of the ball. Now, it is time for them to get defensive.

Here in the third round, the Dolphins add Alabama defensive tackle Christian Barmore to the mix. Barmore is a bit of a raw player, but his combination of power and quickness up front gives him exciting long-term upside. In Barmore, the Dolphins find a potential impact interior defender who can make plays in the backfield against the run and as a pass rusher.

Round 4, 110th Overall

Scouting Report. EDGE. Ronnie Perkins. 815. Pick Analysis. Oklahoma. 4. player

In the fourth round of this 2021 NFL mock draft, the Miami Dolphins add another front seven defender in Oklahoma edge defender Ronnie Perkins. Perkins is an athletic speed rusher who gets upfield quickly and can turn the corner in an instant. His ability to win with speed around the edge immediately stands out but do not sleep on Perkins’ raw strength and power at the point of attack.

Perkins has a lot of natural upside as a pass rusher at the next level and can help make an impact against the run. He would be a perfect flyer for the Dolphins in this range.

Round 4, 124th Overall

Ar'Darius Washington. 4. player. 872. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. S. TCU

The Miami Dolphins certainly have a need for some playmaking ability at the safety position and they find an interesting option here in the fourth round of this 2021 NFL mock draft. Ar’Darius Washington is a quick and athletic safety who shows tremendous range at the position in coverage and as a run defender. Despite his smaller stature, Washington is also an extremely physical player who is a reliable tackler in space.

Simply put, Washington is a gifted safety prospect who has exciting versatility at the next level. Here, Miami finds good value at a possible position of need for the team.
