2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 42nd Overall

Pick Analysis. IDL. USC. player. 50. Scouting Report. Jay Tufele. 42

Jay Tufele is a big and strong defensive lineman who can consistently win with power at the point of attack. However, do not sleep on his ability to move and make plays as a penetrating defensive lineman. Tufele is quick off of the ball and explosive through the line. He is a gifted player who can make an impact in one and two-gap situations. The Lions find themselves a good one here.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 43rd Overall

player. 13. EDGE. Georgia. Azeez Ojulari. 43. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

With Melvin Ingram hitting free agency this offseason, edge rusher could easily become a major position of need for the Chargers. They did not address the position when they had the opportunity earlier, but snagging Azeez Ojulari here stands out as a fantastic value pick.

Ojulari is an explosive edge rusher who fires off of the ball quickly and bends around the corner in an instant. Ojulari is never going to be a guy who will win with much power, but his athletic upside is incredibly exciting. The Chargers swing for the fences at a position of need with this pick.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 44th Overall

Florida. 45. Scouting Report. QB. 44. player. Pick Analysis. Kyle Trask

The Broncos may think that they have their guy at the quarterback position, but Drew Lock has been extremely inconsistent this season and they need to consider other options if they are available. Kyle Trask is a fringe first-round prospect and if he falls this far, Denver almost has to scoop him up.

Trask is a smart quarterback who reads the defense well and always hits his spots as a passer. He throws with great anticipation and has strong accuracy to all levels. Trask does lack ideal arm strength for an NFL quarterback and that might limit him at the next level. That being said, he is a guy who can come in and compete for a starting job. If nothing else, making this pick would push Lock and force him to step his game up.
