2021 NFL Draft: Round 4, 104th Overall

Pick Analysis. EDGE. Penn State. 4. 806. Scouting Report. Shaka Toney. player

Dallas already addressed their edge rusher need earlier in this draft, but you can never have too many guys who can get after the quarterback. Shaka Toney is a bit of an inconsistent player, but he is quick and explosive around the edge and could certainly make an impact for this team on passing downs.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 4, 136th Overall

818. Pick Analysis. CB. Washington. Keith Taylor. 4. player. Scouting Report

The secondary in Dallas is an absolute mess and they should consider taking multiple players at both cornerback and safety in the 2021 NFL Draft. Washington cornerback Keith Taylor is the pick here and he could certainly make an impact for the team on the outside. Taylor is a long and athletic cornerback who shows impressive instincts in coverage and good ball skills. He can play both man and zone coverage and also shows great position versatility in the secondary.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 5, 174th Overall

5. player. Pick Analysis. RB. Jaret Patterson. Buffalo. 123. Scouting Report

Ezekiel Elliott is obviously one of the best running backs in the entire NFL. While Elliott is playing at a high level, it is fair to wonder whether any running back is worth his current contract. If the Dallas Cowboys ever look to move on from Elliott, getting a guy like Jaret Patterson in the room would be a good idea.

Patterson shows great vision with the ball in his hands, is quick in short spaces and does a great job of maintaining balance through contact. Patterson also shows the ability to make an impact in the passing game and will be a productive player at the next level if he is given an opportunity.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 6, 188 Overall

S. UCLA. Quentin Lake. player. 836. Pick Analysis. 6. Scouting Report

Quentin Lake is a rangy and athletic defensive back who has played both safety and slot cornerback in college. Lake is smooth in coverage, showing the ability to hold his own in man and shine in short zone coverage. He is also a tough player who is a reliable tackler in space. At worst, Lake would likely provide strong special teams value for Dallas and some much-needed depth in the secondary.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 6, 219th Overall

Scouting Report. QB. Texas A&M. Kellen Mond. Pick Analysis. 6. player. 873

There are times where Kellen Mond looks like a legitimate NFL quarterback prospect with a bright future. He is a strong and athletic player who can make plays with both his arm and his legs. However, Mond has been extremely inconsistent throughout his college career and is far from a strong bet to be a high-level starter at the next level.

Next. Zach Wilson becoming this year's Joe Burrow. dark

2021 NFL Draft: Round 7, 224th Overall

7. Pick Analysis. Coastal Carolina. Tarron Jackson. 123. Scouting Report. DL. player

With their final pick of this mock draft, the Dallas Cowboys make yet another exciting defensive line addition. Tarron Jackson has been fantastic for Coastal Carolina this season and undoubtedly deserves some Day 3 attention. Jackson has a great combination of size, power and athleticism that makes him an exciting player with a high ceiling. He has a chance to grow into an impact player who takes snaps all across the defensive line at the next level.
