Round 5, Pick 176

Actual 2020 NFL Draft selection: Traded to Minnesota
Re-Draft selection: Bradlee Anae, DE, Utah

The Dallas Cowboys absolutely stole Bradlee Anae when they landed him with the last pick of the fifth round in the 2020 NFL Draft. Anae is not the most explosive player on the edge, but he is quick off of the ball, extremely powerful at the point of attack and shows fantastic overall hand usage. Anae is a rock-solid run defender and is a relentless pass rusher. He simply should not have been available this late.

Instead of letting Anae fall all the way to the end of the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers hold on to their late fifth-round selection and take him a few picks before the Cowboys. Incredible value selection for the 49ers here.

Round 6, Pick 190

Actual 2020 NFL Draft selection: Charlie Woerner, TE, Georgia
Re-Draft selection: Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State

Charlie Woerner is a good blocking tight end, but his ability to make an impact in the passing game is extremely limited. Instead of taking a depth tight end here, I like the idea of running back Eno Benjamin with the San Francisco 49ers.

Benjamin is a quick and elusive back who shows impressive ball carrier vision and strong natural instincts in traffic. Benjamin is not a major home run hitter, but he is a capable runner who will keep the chains moving. Landing Benjamin in the sixth round would be a great value selection for the 49ers at a position where they could certainly use some quality depth.

Round 7, Pick 217

Actual 2020 NFL Draft selection: Jauan Jennings, WR, Tennessee
Re-Draft selection: Same

With their final pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers took Jauan Jennings. Jennings is a big and physical receiver who is an impressive playmaker with the ball in his hands.

The 49ers do a great job of scheming open their receivers and allowing them to create after the catch. Jennings has strong hands and fantastic contact balance for a wide receiver. This was a great seventh-round selection by San Francisco and taking anyone else in this re-draft would have been a mistake.
