Round 4, Pick 117

Actual 2020 NFL Draft selection: Traded to Minnesota
Re-Draft selection: Reggie Robinson II, CB, Tulsa

The 49ers use their fourth-round selection that they do not trade to the Vikings in this re-draft scenario to find some help at the cornerback position. Reggie Robinson II is a long and athletic cornerback prospect who is sticky throughout coverage and shows tremendous natural ball skills. He is an exciting outside cornerback prospect who could quickly turn into an important playmaker for the San Francisco 49ers on the defensive side of the ball.

Richard Sherman is still playing at an extremely high level, but how many more top-notch years does he have left? Plus, they could certainly use some quality depth at the position. Robinson is a gifted cornerback prospect who would fill an important position of need for this team.

Round 5, Pick 153

Actual 2020 NFL Draft selection: Colton McKivitz, OL, West Virginia
Re-Draft selection: Same

In the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers took offensive lineman Colton McKivitz. McKivitz moves well in space and has experience playing both guard and tackle in college. He is an impressive second-level blocker who will fit well in the 49ers’ zone system. McKivitz is probably best suited to play on the interior at the next level, but could potentially fill in at tackle if needed.

I like this selection made by the 49ers and nobody else really stands as a better pick. They did well here and we stick with the original selection of McKivitz in this re-draft scenario.
