San Francisco 49ers’ projected win total: 9.8
Richard Lecounte III 2019 stats: 61 total tackles (4.5 for loss), 4 interceptions, 3 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles.

With the penultimate selection of this mock draft, the San Francisco 49ers find themselves an exciting prospect at arguably their biggest position of need. Richard Lecounte III is an extremely active and aggressive safety prospect who has tremendous upside on the back-end. He is an explosive athlete who has fantastic range and ball skills.

Lecounte also shows the ability to quickly come down and offer support against the run. He misses more tackles than one would like to see and that will have to improve in order to reach his full potential at the next level. That being said, he is an exciting talent who could quickly grow into a tremendous playmaker for the 49ers.

Kansas City Chiefs’ projected win total: 11.2
Eric Stokes 2019 stats: 38 total tackles (1 for loss), 1 sack, 9 passes defended and 1 forced fumble.

The Kansas City Chiefs largely ignored their obvious need at the cornerback position in the 2020 NFL Draft, but they have to take care of the position eventually. With the final pick of this mock draft, the Chiefs take a big swing to fill this cornerback need by bringing in Eric Stokes.

Stokes has elite level speed and quickness on the field and is extremely smooth and fluid in coverage. He is a bit of a raw player who needs to fill out his frame a bit to have more success against bigger receivers, but his upside at the cornerback position is absolutely massive. Stokes is impressive and aggressive man coverage and also shows strong instincts in zone. He undoubtedly has a chance to grow into a premier defensive prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft.
