2021 NFL Draft: Trey Lance lands in top five of way-too-early mock draft
New Orleans Saints’ projected win total: 9.7
Rondale Moore college stats (17 games between 2018 and 2019): 143 receptions for 1,645 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The New Orleans Saints have been looking for a premier wide receiver to pair with Michael Thomas. They signed Emmanuel Sanders to a two-year free-agent contract this offseason and he will undoubtedly fit well in their offense. However, the Saints would undoubtedly benefit from finding a more long-term option at the position.
With the 29th pick of this mock draft, the Saints take a shot on Rondale Moore, a dynamic wide receiver prospect out of Purdue. Moore is an incredibly quick and explosive receiver who has tremendous natural deep speed and is an incredible weapon with the ball in his hands.
Moore is a tremendous playmaker who undoubtedly has massive upside at the next level. Make no mistake about it, placing Moore in this Saints’ offense would help take them to the next level.
Baltimore Ravens’ projected win total: 10.5
Christian Barmore 2019 stats: 26 total tackles (6 for loss), 2 sacks and 2 passes defended.
The Baltimore Ravens beefed up their defensive line this offseason, but could certainly still use some youthful depth up front. Christian Barmore still has a lot to prove if he is going to be a first-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he was a dominant interior pass rusher last season in a limited role.
Barmore shows an explosive first step, extremely quick hands and solid initial power at the point of attack. It will certainly be interesting to see how Barmore performs in a larger role next season, but his combination of size and athleticism gives him exciting upside at the next level.
