53. WR. 21. Jaylen Waddle. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama

Cleveland Browns’ projected win total: 8.0
Jaylen Waddle 2019 stats: 33 receptions for 560 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Jaylen Waddle was only a part-time offensive player at Alabama last season, but that had much more to do with their incredible depth at the wide receiver position than his ability. Waddle is a tremendous athlete who has an elite combination of speed and quickness. He uses his physical skills to easily create separation in his routes and is a fantastic playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Waddle is also a tremendous returner who is going to have a ton of special teams value at the next level. This guy is a freak natural athlete who is going to be a special playmaker with the ball in his hands at the next level. Adding Waddle to a wide receiver room that already includes Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry would undoubtedly be worth getting excited about.

player. 60. Pick Analysis. 22. Texas. Caden Sterns. Scouting Report. S

Minnesota Vikings’ projected win total: 8.4
Caden Sterns college stats (22 games between 2018 and 2019): 121 total tackles (7 for loss), 4 interceptions, 5 passes defended and 2 sacks.

With Anthony Harris playing the 2020 season under the franchise tag, safety could easily end up being a massive need for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2021 NFL Draft. There are plenty of exciting safety prospects in this upcoming class who should interest the Vikings. In this mock draft, Caden Sterns stands out as the guy for Minnesota.

Sterns is an impressive deep safety prospect who shows tremendous range on the back-end of the defense. He is quick, athletic and shows solid overall ball skills. Instead of signing Harris to a massive long-term deal, the Vikings could consider attacking their safety need in the 2021 NFL Draft with a guy like Sterns.
