Tennessee Titans: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

Round 2, 61st Overall

After making an improbable run to the AFC Championship Game last year, the Tennessee Titans made their own players a priority over the offseason. They were able to bring back quarterback Ryan Tannehill and star running back Derrick Henry, but cap space issues forced them to move on from one of their best offensive linemen, right tackle Jack Conklin, and talented cornerback Logan Ryan.

Losing Conklin and Ryan will hurt this team, but the Titans did the best that they could of replacing those losses in the 2020 NFL Draft. The took Isaiah Wilson in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft and he could immediately come in and replace Conklin at the right tackle position.

While Wilson undoubtedly fills a hole on the roster, he was a bit of a reach as a late first-round selection. However, taking Kristian Fulton late in the second round both filled a need and was a great value pick.

Fulton is a tough and athletic cornerback prospect who is physical at the line of scrimmage and has the quickness to keep up throughout the route. Fulton also has long arms and impressive natural ball skills on the outside and even shows some ability as a run defender.

Simply put, this guy is a talented cornerback prospect who can come in and play an immediate role for this team. While I would not call Fulton a one-for-one replacement of Ryan, he can certainly handle some outside responsibilities for the Titans while Adoree’ Jackson kicks inside to primarily replace Ryan as the slot cornerback.
