Running Back. Boston College. A.J. Dillon. Scouting Report. 128.. player. 16. Pick Analysis

In the third round last year, the Buffalo Bills found a gem of a running back in Devin Singletary. After an incredibly productive career at Florida Atlantic University, Singletary stepped in and competed for playing time with all-time great Frank Gore, and proved to be arguably the better option.

Singletary ultimately ran for nearly 800 yards as a rookie and added nearly 200 more receiving yards in just 12 games. If he is able to stay healthy and play a full season, Singletary has the makings to be one of the most productive backs in the NFL.

However, Singletary, especially in today’s NFL, could benefit from having a complement that could lighten his load a bit to help keep him healthy for the entirety of the season. The perfect complement in the 2020 NFL Draft? A.J. Dillon.

Like Singletary, Dillon had a very productive three-year career in college. At Boston College, Dillon was incredible, running for over 1,500 yards as a freshman and over 1,600 this past season as a junior prior to entering the draft.

At six feet and nearly 250 pounds, Dillon is a real tank. He is tough to bring down but is more than just a true power back. He is a very patient runner with enough speed and athleticism to be an every-down back in the NFL.

Having two backs that could really hold their own as a three-down running back would be a great luxury for a team like the Bills. With a young quarterback that is still growing and developing, a reliable running game is his best friend. These backs complement each other perfectly and would form a great pairing for the Buffalo Bills offense for years to come.

Liberty. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 16. Wide Receiver. Antonio Gandy-Golden. 167.. player

Another one of my favorite 2020 NFL Draft prospects, Antonio Gandy-Golden has the potential to develop into one of the most dominant wide receivers in the NFL. He is a little raw right now, but given some time to develop his ceiling is sky-high.

With the addition of Stefon Diggs to a receiving corps already consisting of 2019 standouts John Brown and Cole Beasley, wide receiver isn’t really at the forefront in terms of needs for the Buffalo Bills in the 2020 NFL Draft. But a team could always use a big-body, jump ball dominant receiver like Gandy-Golden.

Prior to the Diggs trade, a receiver like Gandy-Golden was the priority in my mind for the Bills. A receiver that Josh Allen could through the ball up to with confidence that he will be able to come down with it. Brown and Beasley are great receiving options but are definitely not that type of guy.

As the fourth receiver on the depth chart, Gandy-Golden could come in during third down and red zone situations where his big body and ball skills will be the most useful. Otherwise, he has the opportunity to work with one of the best route runners in the game every day. If Gandy-Golden becomes half the route runner that Diggs is right now, watch out.
