2020 NFL Draft: Three-round mock draft with player and pick trades
Ron Rivera is coming in to create a new culture in Washington, and part of the re-loading plan has to involve Chase Young, right?
Young is the best prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft by most accounts. Even with Joe Burrow coming off of an historic campaign at LSU, Young’s size, athleticism, and advanced technique as a pass rusher are all the total package.
He was a man among boys for Ohio State, and was able to absolutely dominate his side of the defensive line.
The Redskins have a fascinating decision ahead of them, because no one knows for certain if they are sold on Dwayne Haskins as their franchise quarterback. If that’s not the case, they could shake up the 2020 NFL Draft considerably.
At this point, however, it feels like Washington is going to add Chase Young to a defense that already includes some studs and high draft picks up front like Ryan Kerrigan, Jonathan Allen, Da’Ron Payne, and 2019 first-round pick Montez Sweat.
