To help you get ready for the upcoming quarterback class, we created a top ten list of quarterbacks available in the 2020 NFL Draft.

In the upcoming days, we will continue to release our top 10 quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Each day, we will be reviewing a different quarterback that will be available this April for NFL teams to draft. Whether they won a national title or had a losing record, these quarterbacks showed signs in college that indicated they should be drafted this year and make an active roster in 2020.

Posted below are the players on this list we have made it through so far:

10) Nate Stanley- Iowa
9) Shea Patterson- Michigan
8) Jacob Eason- Washington
7) Jalen Hurts- Oklahoma

In these articles, we will be reviewing their background: their history, how they got recruited and what their time in college was like. Afterward, we’ll go into a film analysis of the player: how they threw, what their mechanics were like, what they did well and didn’t do well. And finally, we’ll make a draft prediction for them, the teams that fit their style, where in the draft they could be selected and what role they can expect to take once there.

Today, we explore the college career of Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm. Recruited to Georgia in 2017, initially to serve as the primary backup of Jacob Eason, Fromm was thrust into the starting role after an injury to Eason in the first game of Fromm’s freshman season.

After finishing the season 13-2, Fromm led the Bulldogs to a College Football Championship game in his very first season. After the 2017 season, Fromm continued to play well, but the team fell short a few too many times and narrowly missed the Championship playoffs in 2019, finishing the regular season ranked fifth in the AP poll.

Now Fromm is heading to the 2020 NFL Draft. He put plenty of solid games on film during his three seasons at Georgia.  But certain issues with his style of play will make him a long shot to see the first round, outside of a miraculous run of Combine success later this month.

Despite this, Fromm has shown that he can be a solid starting quarterback in the NFL. Fromm showed a lot of growth in 2019 and if his improvements continue to track upwards once he is in the NFL, there is no reason to believe he could not succeed and lead a franchise for years to come.
