Pick Analysis. Quarterback. Joe Burrow. 1. player. Scouting Report. LSU. 56

This pick is going to be the same in pretty much every mock draft out there because it would be a shock if it didn’t happen. There aren’t sure things in any draft, but the surest one in the 2020 NFL Draft is the Cincinnati Bengals selecting Joe Burrow. Burrow has enjoyed one of the biggest rises in just one season of play in a long time. There was some promise with his game towards the end of 2018, but the addition of Joe Brady has brought him to new heights.

Burrow has been the most accurate passer this season and has made throws look easy to every level of the field, especially the deep ball. He has made 20-plus yard throws look majestic when he drops the ball in the bucket. Burrow’s most impressive part of his game is his ability in the pocket. He makes maneuvering the pocket look easy, shifting through the traffic while also keeping his eyes downfield.

The Bengals will get a look at how Burrow does on the big stage in the College Football Playoff, and if he decides to go down to Mobile, the Bengals could fall for him down there and make the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft unofficially set in stone.
