2020 NFL Draft: Dolphins pass on Tua in this first-round mock draft
The Dolphins pass on Tua Tagovailoa and seven wide receivers get selected in this 2020 NFL Draft first-round mock draft.
There are just two weeks left in the regular season, meaning that two weeks from now, 20 teams will turn their focus to free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft. It won’t be long before the playoffs conclude, and everyone has their eyes on finding top prospects in the draft at all-star games and the combine.
In this first-round mock, the Cincinnati Bengals are still holding on to the first overall pick, and with a loss this coming week, they would seal it. The teams behind them are all still jockeying for a top-five pick, including the Giants, who are in the second spot right now.
This mock draft features a bit of a shake up at the top, with one team passing on a quarterback for a blue chip prospect and getting a high ceiling quarterback later. We all know how stacked the wide receiver class looks right now, and seven of them go in this first-round mock draft. There are also a few more surprises in there throughout the first round.
Nothing is set in stone at this point, as the draft order will change as we go through the playoffs. Plus, underclassmen could still head back to school, and trades could happen as teams make a play for potential franchise quarterbacks.
Let’s take a look at what could happen in April with this 2020 NFL Draft first-round mock.
Note: This mock draft was completed using The Draft Network’s mock draft simulator. This also isn’t the final draft order as there are games to be played.
