60. Pick Analysis. TCU. player. Scouting Report. CB. Jeff Gladney. 23

Xavier Rhodes has been terrible this season and both Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander are set to hit free agency. Cornerback stands out as a massive need for the Minnesota Vikings, and luckily for them, the 2020 NFL draft class has tremendous depth at the position. In this mock draft, the Vikings bring in Jeff Gladney to fill their cornerback need.

Gladney is a sticky man-to-man defender who has good speed and athleticism on the outside. He is an extremely instinctual player who reads the quarterback well and trusts his reads when breaking for the ball.

Most importantly, Gladney shows a tremendous nose for the ball. He is a high-level playmaker at the defensive end position who shows great hands and a knack for separating the receiver from the ball. He is a gifted cornerback who should be a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Scouting Report. Shaun Wade. 24. 124. Pick Analysis. CB. Ohio State. player

If the Kansas City Chiefs are ever going to reach the mountaintop with Patrick Mahomes, they need to get better on the defensive side of the ball. In particular, their secondary needs some work and they get some help with the selection of Shaun Wade in this mock draft.

Wade primarily plays in the slot in college, but that is mostly because of the talent on the field for Ohio State. This guy is not just a slot defender, he can make an impact on the outside as well. The Chiefs need to find some cornerbacks who can defend all over the field and Wade certainly fits the bill.
