2020 NFL Draft: Thanksgiving Day first-round 2020 NFL mock draft
26. Buffalo Bills: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
The Buffalo Bills are enjoying a solid season, as they sit at 8 and 3 on the year with a likely AFC wildcard slot in their future.
While I don’t think they are a legit Super Bowl threat quite yet, some key additions through the 2020 NFL Draft and free agency could get them there in the future.
One guy that could help out a position of need for them in this draft class is Penn State defensive end, Yetur Gross-Matos.
This is a player with a prototypical 4-3 defensive end build and all of the production you could hope for when scouting a pass rusher. In his three seasons with the Nittany Lions, Gross-Matos has come away with a whopping 35.5 tackles for a loss and tallied 17.5 sacks, including 8 this season.
The Bills are thin off the edge at the moment and don’t have anybody that can be a real game breaker for them. I believe Gross-Matos has the skills to potentially be that kind of guy for Buffalo, as he has a relentless motor and elite physical tools to transition nicely at the next level.
I like this fit in Buffalo.
