2020 NFL Draft: Predicting where top QB prospects will land
After transferring away from Ohio State, Joe Burrow has found the grass is greener in Louisiana.
He may be back in the state of Ohio before too long, though.
The Cincinnati Bengals are the only winless team in the NFL right now, and at this point, it’s hard to see any quarterback besides Joe Burrow going first overall.
Burrow had a decent year for the Tigers in 2018, but he’s completely broken out in 2019 with some of the most outstanding play we’ve seen from a college QB in recent years, at least from the traditional pocket-passing type.
Burrow is not a statue in the pocket, though. He’s been great maneuvering in and out of the pocket, making plays with his legs, and finding holes in the defense no matter what blitz is thrown at him, what coverage is thrown at him, or what the game situation is.
Especially after his monster performance against Alabama, it’s safe to say that Burrow is capable of putting up big numbers against the best of the best in college football, and his confidence seems to be growing every game.
The Heisman Trophy front-runner is now the top pick front-runner and the Bengals are on their way to being able to secure him.
