The 2020 NFL Draft is shaping up to be a fascinating one at the quarterback position. Where will the top prospects at QB land? We make predictions.

The 2020 NFL Draft has the potential to be an even more historic class than the vaunted 2012 class which featured Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill, Russell Wilson, Nick Foles, and Kirk Cousins.

Although not all of those players fulfilled their potential, it’s rare to see a draft class with that much talent at the quarterback position. It’s rare enough to see a class with more than two or three first-round caliber players, but that’s exactly what we’ve got with this 2020 NFL Draft class.

As is typically the case, the players we thought who is coming in at first overall would be the best in this year’s class have some competition from breakout players. No one is breaking out in 2020 quite like LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, in pretty much every mock draft nowadays.

Using the current 2020 NFL Draft order, we’re going to look at what basically amounts to a mock draft but only for quarterbacks. Where will the top players in this class wind up? What teams are the best fits?

Is it possible that the Miami Dolphins would miss out on both Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa?

We’re going to explore that. Dane Brugler’s latest top 100 rankings include seven quarterback prospects. We’re going to predict some landing spots — including some big surprises — for this year’s class as things stand right now.
