2020 NFL Draft: First-round mock draft with four QBs early
The 2019 season has been a severe disappointment for the Atlanta Falcons. They have struggled to make consistent plays on both sides of the ball and are not going to be close to competing for a playoff spot this season. Instead, the Falcons are likely to be picking extremely high in the 2020 NFL Draft. In this mock draft, they go on the clock at number four and find themselves a real defensive playmaker.
Young is the best defensive player in the 2020 NFL draft class, but his Ohio State teammate, cornerback Jeffrey Okudah, is not far behind. Okudah is the premier cornerback in this class and has fantastic upside at the next level.
Okudah is an extremely smooth and athletic cornerback who always seems to be in prime position. He shows impressive short-area quickness and great long speed. He is extremely quick to the ball and does a great job of using his long arms to his advantage. Okudah is a tremendous man-to-man coverage cornerback who can mirror opposing receivers extremely well and is fantastic at attacking the ball in the air.
The Falcons have consistently struggled on the defensive side of the ball this season and could use a dynamic playmaker to add to the mix in the secondary. With the selection of Okudah, the Falcons find a true lockdown option on the outside who could help take their entire defense to the next level.
