Pick Analysis. CB. Jeffrey Okudah. 44. Scouting Report. Ohio State. 4. player

The Atlanta Falcons are another team who would undoubtedly love to see Young available when they go on the clock. However, with him off of the board in this mock draft, Atlanta goes with his Ohio State teammate and the next best defensive prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class, cornerback Jeffrey Okudah.

Okudah is an absolute star in the making in the secondary. Teams are starting to learn that building a defense around the secondary is a worthy plan of attack and Okudah would be a fantastic cornerback prospect to build a defense around.

He is an incredibly fast and fluid athlete who moves extremely well in space and is smooth in coverage. Okudah also has impressive long speed and changes directions quickly, keeping pace with all receivers on the outside. He is a fierce man-to-man defender who understands route concepts well and also shows plenty of ability in zone coverage.

When the ball is in the air, Okudah shows off impressive leaping ability and has a fantastic nose for the ball. His overall ball skills are tremendous.

This guy has it all at the cornerback position. He is a tremendous defensive prospect who has a limitless ceiling at the next level. The Falcons obvious need some help on the defensive side of the ball and Okudah would be a fantastic addition to the unit.
