There are three running backs in the 2020 NFL draft class who are worthy of going in the first round. Jonathan Taylor, D’Andre Swift and Travis Etienne are all extremely different players, but they are all great and could be major difference-makers at the next level. In this mock draft, Taylor gets the edge because he is a great fit for the Buffalo Bills, the first team to make a running back selection.

I know the Bills like Devin Singletary and they just took him last year, but honestly, Singletary is just a guy. If the Bills want to take their rushing attack to the next level, they should make Taylor a priority.

Taylor is an extremely smooth running back prospect who shows elite ball carrier vision and fantastic burst through the hole. He is quick and elusive in the box and has the speed to break plays for a big game. Taylor is not much of a pass-catcher, but he is an extremely talented running back who has a chance to be an offensive superstar at the next level. The Bills find themselves a real difference-maker here.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 27. WR. Clemson. Tee Higgins. player. 49

I am not a huge Tee Higgins fan, but I do think he ends up going in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Higgins is a big and athletic receiver who has a massive catch radius. NFL scouts are going to fall in love with his size and his contested-catch ability may be enough to make him a productive player. However, Higgins’ inability to separate and make plays after the catch does concern me.

Regardless, Higgins ends up with the Green Bay Packers in this mock draft. He feels like a good fit with Aaron Rodgers as a jump ball receiver in the red zone.
