The beginning of the 2019 season has been an absolute disaster for the Atlanta Falcons. They are one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL and are unlikely to significantly turn their season around anytime soon.

While their offense has not exactly been productive, the defense has been the biggest issue for Atlanta this season. They have not been able to create any pressure on the quarterback up front and have struggled to defend in the secondary.

They can only solve one problem at a time here with their first-round 2020 NFL draft pick and Ohio State cornerback Jeffrey Okudah stands out as the best fit. Okudah is an elite-level cornerback prospect who has a chance to be a true eraser on the outside.

Okudah is an extremely fast and athletic cornerback who plays extremely smooth in coverage. He does an incredible job of mirroring the receivers in coverage, closes on the ball with elite speed and uses his fantastic length to knock the ball away. Okudah also shows tremendous natural ball skills and can make plays with the ball in his hands after he comes down with it.

The Falcons have a lot of issues on the defensive side of the ball and we can not take care of them all here. That being said, Okudah is one of the most talented prospects in the 2020 NFL draft class and would undoubtedly help take their defense to the next level.
