815. Scouting Report. WR. Oklahoma. CeeDee Lamb. player. Pick Analysis. 1

Drafting Thomas fills the hole left by Laremy Tunsil when the Miami Dolphins traded him to the Houston Texans before the season. One of the picks that they received from the Texans in that deal is used right here to acquire Oklahoma wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb.

Snagging Lamb with the 25th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft would be absolute robbery. He is only the second wide receiver off of the board in this mock draft, but this class of wide receivers is absolutely loaded. He is worthy of being the second receiver off of the board, but based on overall talent, this is a steal.

Lamb is not the most explosive wide receiver in the 2020 NFL draft class, but he is a tremendous playmaker whose skills translate well to the next level. Lamb is a smooth and precise route runner who has tremendous natural ball skills. He tracks the ball in the air extremely well and has elite-level body control when he leaps to make the catch.

There are plenty of talented wide receivers worth considering in this class, but Lamb is one of the best. He is a true number one wide receiver at the next level who would undoubtedly be a great guy to have in the mix for whoever ends up being their franchise quarterback. Landing him late in the first round would be an ideal scenario for the Miami Dolphins.
