Cincinnati Bengals 2020 NFL Draft: Complete 7-round NFL mock draft
Passing on a quarterback prospect like Herbert can be risky. I mean, Young is the kind of guy who you can ignore quarterback for, but Herbert is a high upside 2020 NFL draft prospect who has the talent to lead the Cincinnati Bengals into the future.

However, I do not think that there is much of a gap between Herbert and the next tier of quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL draft class. Tagovailoa is in a class of his own, then there is Herbert. But after that, I like a lot of guys at the next level, including the quarterback who the Bengals take in the second round of this mock draft, Jacob Eason.
Based on raw talent alone, Eason is undoubtedly a first-round quarterback prospect. He has ridiculous natural arm talent, showing the ability to make any throw on the football field. Eason can hit receivers in stride down the field on a consistent basis and fit passes into tight windows when needed.
He stands in the pocket strong as he looks downfield, doing a nice job of evading incoming rushers when needed. Eason also has solid mobility and good overall accuracy and ball placement.
Simply put, Jacob Eason is an extremely talented NFL draft prospect who has massive upside at the next level. He would be an ideal fit in the Cincinnati Bengals offense and would be a great player for Taylor to groom for the future. Landing him in the second round could be a massive steal in this mock draft.
