Round 2

Who it was: Cam Robinson (34)

Who it should have been: Joe Mixon (48)

The Jacksonville Jaguars were in desperate need of a tackle at this point in 2017, so Cam Robinson was a no-brainer at the time. Fast-forward two years and it’s hard to judge whether or not this was the right choice. While he has shown potential as a starting left tackle for the foreseeable future, Robinson has battled the injuries that have kept him out of 14 games in his two-year career.

With it being so up in the air as to whether or not his investment has been worth it, for this re-draft, I have them passing on him and making up for not getting Fournette in the first by selecting Joe Mixon with the 34th overall pick.

While it did take him a year to get acclimated to life on a team without much help, Mixon broke out in 2018 on his way to his first 1,000-yard season and finished fourth in the NFL in rushing behind household names like Ezekiel Elliott, Saquon Barkley and Todd Gurley.

Mixon has proven ability as an every-down back and is amongst the best young playmakers in the entire NFL. If it weren’t for his off-field concerns throughout the draft process, he very well could have been the Jaguars pick in the first.
