2019 NFL Mock Free Agency: Picking where the top 30 names sign

10. Kansas City Chiefs
Every year there’s always that one team nobody expects to be huge players in free agency who makes a big move. The Kansas City Chiefs would appear to be too preoccupied with their own in-house free agents to consider a big outside move. Except this team is close to a Super Bowl and they know improving their secondary may hold the key to going over the top.
The New York Giants may end up franchise tagging Landon Collins but Dave Gettleman has shown he’s reluctant to pay defensive backs big money. The Chiefs, on the other hand, covet good safeties highly. They also have an advantage over other teams in employing Steve Spagnuolo, the former Giants defensive coordinator who made Collins a star a few years back.
