Nick Foles to the Cincinnati Bengals

This move may come as a shock to some as this isn’t the team Nick Foles has been connected to for the past couple of months. Yet it’s one that makes the most sense. The Cincinnati Bengals have been haunted by one persistent issue during the Andy Dalton era. They can’t win in the playoffs. He got them there multiple times but never played his best in the postseason. Foles is the exact man who can change those fortunes.

In the past two seasons for the Eagles, the veteran backup has stepped into the starting job and has a 4-1 playoff record with a Super Bowl ring and MVP honors. Much of his success though was thanks to an innovative scheme under Doug Pederson, a man who knows how to speak quarterback. The same is true for new Bengals head coach Zac Taylor. He would be able to craft a scheme around what Foles does best to make him a success.
