The Los Angeles Chargers have gotten by this year without too much trouble in the secondary but there’s a genuine fear that it could start to bite them when they face top quarterbacks later this season. Cornerback remains a concern for them with injuries again sapping their depth. Jason Verrett is likely done after going on IR yet again. They need to move one and hopefully find somebody who can stay on the field. Amani Oruwariye has begun to stand out in a big way for Penn State. He’s got size and length, good athleticism and shows enough speed to not be a liability. There are fundamental issues to work out, but the building blocks are there.
